A single appliance is capable of monitoring 100 channels simultaneously and multiple appliances can be easily deployed, if needed. The 5View IPTV data capture occurs at IGMP registration and continues through the multicast flow. 5View IPTV tracks channel status in real-time, providing all relevant quality metrics and alarming on various channel and stream states including program started, and traffic stopped or restarted, to name a few.
