Getting to Know the Management Team

Mr. Trehan is responsible for the design and execution of InfoVista’s network performance management product portfolio and product management strategy. With over 17 years of telecom industry experience in diverse roles including product management, marketing and business development, Mr. Trehan’s career spans telecom equipment vendors as well as OSS suppliers, providing him with a unique perspective for both networks and operations. His areas of expertise include various OSS domains and networking technologies including Carrier Ethernet, IP/MPLS and optical transport. Mr. Trehan’s previous experience encompasses several senior product management and business development roles in the Ethernet switching business unit of ADVA Optical Networking. He also worked with top companies such as Siemens, DSET, Fujitsu and Alcatel. Mr. Trehan holds a Masters in Computer Science from North Carolina State University.
Based out of Herndon, Virginia (USA), Mr. Shah brings 20 years of proven results with mission-critical software and services organizations serving communication service providers and other enterprise organizations around the world. He is responsible for global sales, marketing, and strategic alliances. Prior to joining InfoVista, Mr. Shah held senior executive leadership positions, first as Vice President of Worldwide Sales with Telarix, then as General Manager, Americas with Actix, a leader in wireless network performance engineering solutions. In years prior, he held various sales management and global sales positions with Portal Software/Oracle, Lawson Software and Automatic Data Processing (ADP). Mr. Shah earned a Bachelors of Science in International Marketing from Pennsylvania State University.
Mr. Forlizzi is responsible for leading InfoVista’s worldwide finance and administrative organization which includes overseeing finance, human resources, legal and other administrative departments. After joining the company in March 2000 as Director of Finance for InfoVista Corporation, a U.S. subsidiary of InfoVista, he was subsequently promoted to Vice President of Finance in September 2001. Mr. Forlizzi took over worldwide legal responsibilities in February 2008. Before joining the company, Mr. Forlizzi worked in the audit division of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Boston and Paris, primarily servicing software and other technology companies. Mr. Forlizzi is a U.S. certified public accountant and a graduate of Bentley College in Waltham, Massachusetts, with a Bachelors of Science degree in Accountancy.
With over 20 years of high-level industry experience, Mr. Ozanian joined InfoVista in November of 2000 as its Chief Financial Officer. In 2007, Mr. Ozanian began serving the company as President and CFO with extended responsibilities to worldwide operations. Mr. Ozanian has led InfoVista as CEO since July 2008. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Ozanian was Director of Human Resources and Communications at Johnson & Johnson for France and Benelux from 1999 to 2000. He also served as Director of Strategy and Development at Siemens from 1996 to 1999, where he was responsible for Marketing, Regional Sales, Communication, HR and Quality. From 1987 to 1996 he served as Director of Human Resources at Olivetti in France. Mr. Ozanian has two masters degrees in Law and Management from Insead, one of the world’s leading and largest graduate business schools.
Mr. Stopnicki has served as InfoVista’s Chief Technology Officer for nearly 15 years. Instrumental in the design and development of the company’s software platform, he now oversees the strategic direction of all product technologies. Mr. Stopnicki’s previous experience includes several positions with M.F.I., a consulting company specialized in high-tech software developments for large European companies, from 1987 to 1995. Mr. Stopnicki is a graduate of Ecole Supérieure d'Informatique in Paris with a Masters in Engineering and Computer Science.
Mr. Benrey oversees the global professional services, training, and customer support organizations. Joining the company in 2001, he previously served as Director of Customer Advocacy and Vice President of Channel Marketing. Mr. Benrey’s prior industry experience encompasses various positions in customer service including Chief Service Officer for Clariteam from 1999 to 2001, (the first European MSP specialized in Quality of Services) and Director of Customer Services for ARCHE Communications, a leading French network integrator, from 1995 to 1999. Additionally, he has served as an International Sales Manager and Manager of Professional Services for several high-tech companies in both France and the U.S. Mr. Benrey holds a Masters of International Business from the University of Lyon in France and as well as a degree in European Management from the University of Canterbury in England.
Mr. Fries oversees InfoVista’s 5View and Application Performance Management Business Line, bringing a lengthy background and tremendous expertise in management. Before the Accellent company was integrated into InfoVista in November 2007, he served as Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Fries also previously served as CEO of Fastware for 11 years, then as Vice President of the Enterprise Division of GN Nettest from 1998 to 2001 after GN Nettest’s acquisition of Fastware. Additionally, his experience includes two years working at Alcatel. Mr. Fries is a graduate of Institut National des Télécommunications.
